Travel boards are easiest to search when they name a place. "Italy Travel" or "Japan Travel Tips" will always beat "Wanderlust" for search, because people plan trips by destination. The SEO list mixes place-style names with format names like itineraries and packing lists.

How to choose a travel board name
Swap in the countries and cities you actually save or write about. Aesthetic and funny names are great for a bucket list board or a board of places you dream about but have not planned yet.
Give each destination you cover its own board, named with the place and a format word: Greece Travel Itinerary, London Travel Tips. Then keep one general bucket list board with a playful name for everything else. Travel bloggers can add regional boards as they publish more posts.

Whichever name you pick, write a one or two sentence board description that repeats the main phrase naturally, and add a
few board sections if the board covers several sub topics. For more options built from your own keyword, try the
Pinterest board name generator, then design pins for the board in the

Travel board name FAQ
Should travel boards be by country or city?
Start by country, and split into cities once you have many pins for one place. A Paris board makes sense for a France heavy blogger; for everyone else, France Travel is enough.
What travel board names get found?
Destination plus a format word: itinerary, travel tips, things to do, packing list. Those words match how planners search.
Is Wanderlust a good board name?
It is charming but very broad. Use it for a personal inspiration board and give your main boards place names.
