How to make printable salon video pin cover
-
Step 1
Choose a bold, high-contrast layout that survives printing. Pale scripts and washed-out hair photos disappear on paper, so pick heavy type and a vivid reveal image.
-
Step 2
Add the reveal frame, the style name and one service line like "Book This Look". Print layouts reward plain words a client can read at the front desk.
-
Step 3
Export at full resolution and print on cardstock for mirror signage, lookbooks or appointment cards. Pin the same file so clients see the identical cover online.
Tips for printable video pin covers
Design once in your browser, export a full-resolution 1000x1500 PNG and use it online and on paper. Your tutorials and your salon floor finally share one look.
Tip 1
Test print one copy before a run. Home printers clip edges and dull hair tones, so check the reveal looks vibrant on a single sheet first.
Tip 2
Add a QR code under the printed cover that opens your tutorial. Clients who take the card home can still watch the full transformation.
Tip 3
Print covers for seasonal services only: balayage in spring, gloss refresh before the holidays. Scarcity turns a printed pin into a booking trigger.

Printable salon video pin cover FAQs
Can I print these covers at home?
Yes. They export at full resolution and print cleanly on a home printer. Use cardstock for appointment cards and mirror signage.
What do salons print video covers for?
Mirror signs, service lookbooks, appointment cards, window posters and front-desk displays are the most common uses.
Will hair colors look right on paper?
Screens are backlit and printers are not, so expect slight shifts. Run a test print and boost saturation if the color looks flat on paper.
Is the printable version free?
Yes. Design and export with no sign-up and no watermark, then print as many copies as you need for the salon, cards and mailers.
Can one design work online and in print?
Yes. Export once, pin it on Pinterest and print it for your salon, so clients recognize the same look wherever they encounter it.
Is this pin maker really free with no watermark?
Yes. Every layout, size and export is free, with no sign-up and no watermark on the PNG. The only branding on your pin is the site name you type in.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Photos are processed inside your browser tab and never sent to a server. Closing the tab discards them.
