How to use the LinkedIn Post to Pin

  1. 1

    Paste your post

Copy the text of a LinkedIn or Facebook post and paste it in. The first line becomes the title and up to five key lines are picked for the body. Edit them if you want different wording.

  2. 2

    Add your name and photo

Type your name and headline, add a profile photo or keep the initials, then choose the insight or quote layout, a color theme and a title font.

  3. 3

Download the pin and the square

Download the 1000 × 1500 pin for Pinterest, the 1080 × 1080 square for re-sharing on LinkedIn or Facebook, or both in one ZIP named after your title.

LinkedIn writers already do the hard part: a hook that stops the scroll and a few lines worth saving. On LinkedIn that post fades from the feed within days. On Pinterest the same idea, turned into a tall image, can keep showing up in search for months and send readers to your newsletter, your website or your profile.

Paste the post and this converter takes the first line as the title and picks the bullet points or the clearest sentences as the body. You can edit both. It works the same for Facebook posts, Threads posts or any short text. Everything is drawn in your browser, so your post and your photo stay on your device.

Which posts make good pins

Pinterest users search for ideas they can use later, so the posts that travel best are practical: a list of lessons, a short process, a checklist, a framework or a before and after. Personal stories work when the hook names the lesson, for example "What 200 cold pitches taught me about pricing".

Rewrite the hook for search if it relies on suspense. "I almost quit last week" works in a feed of people who know you. "How to price freelance projects without underselling" works for strangers searching Pinterest. The body lines can stay as they are.

Where to link the pin

Pinterest pins need a destination link. A blog post or newsletter issue that expands on the idea is the strongest choice because it gives the reader more of what the pin promised. Your LinkedIn profile or the post itself also works when you want followers there.

Use the bulk mode to turn a spreadsheet of past posts into a ZIP of pins with a Pinterest bulk upload CSV. For a multi slide document post, use the LinkedIn carousel to pins tool instead.

LinkedIn Post to Pin FAQ

Can I post LinkedIn content on Pinterest?

Yes, if it is your own post. You own what you write, so you can turn it into a pin and link it to your website, newsletter or profile. Ask first before using someone else's post.

How does the tool pick the key lines?

If the post has bullet or arrow lines, those are used in order. Otherwise it takes the clearest sentences after the hook and skips hashtags and calls to action like "Repost" or "Follow me". You can edit every line.

Does it work for Facebook posts?

Yes. Any text post works: Facebook, Threads, X, a newsletter intro or notes. Paste the text and the same hook and key line logic applies.

What sizes can I download?

A 1000 × 1500 pin in the 2:3 ratio Pinterest recommends, and a 1080 × 1080 square for re-sharing the post as an image on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram. The ZIP button saves both.

Is my post or photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The text and photo are read and drawn in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no sign-up or watermark.
