Pinterest Mockup Generator

Show your pins inside a realistic phone feed for client previews, portfolios and launch posts.

For example a launch line for a client or a social post.

    Background

A generic phone and feed layout with no app logos, so it is safe to share.

How to use the Pinterest Feed Mockup

    1. 1

      Add your pin images

Drop, paste or choose 1 to 6 finished pins. Each keeps its own shape, from square to tall, and they flow into the two columns the way a real feed would.

    2. 2

      Style the mockup

Type what should appear in the search bar, choose a background and phone color, and add an optional headline above the phone. Pick portrait, square or landscape output.

    3. 3

      Download and share

Click Download PNG to save the mockup. Send it to a client for approval, add it to a case study, or post it to announce a new design.

A pin looks different in a feed than it does on its own. Seeing it at phone size, next to other pins, tells you quickly whether the title is readable and the design stands out. A feed mockup is also the clearest way to present pin designs to a client or show off your work in a portfolio or social post.

This generator draws a generic phone with a two column masonry feed, places your pins at the top in the order you add them and fills the rest of the feed with soft placeholder pins. There are no app logos or trademarks in the image, so you can share it freely. Your pins are processed only in your browser.

Using a feed mockup to check your design

Look at the mockup at actual phone size, not zoomed in. If you cannot read the title of your pin at a glance, the text is too small or too long. If your pin blends into the soft placeholder pins around it, push the contrast or the color.

Try two or three versions of the same pin side by side in one mockup. It is a fast way to choose between title wordings or color schemes before you publish. For a single pin preview with real feed dimensions, use the Pinterest mobile preview, and for a score on the design, the pin analyzer.

    Mockups for clients and portfolios

Pin designers and social media managers can send a feed mockup with every batch of designs. It shows the client how the pins will actually appear and makes approval faster than sending loose image files.

Keep the background color in line with your own brand for portfolio images, and use the headline for a short result or project name. To present a screenshot of a website or app instead of pins, try screenshot to pin.

    Pinterest Feed Mockup FAQ

Does the mockup include the Pinterest logo?

No. The phone, feed, search bar and tab bar are generic shapes with no logos or brand marks, so the image does not imply any affiliation and is safe to share.

How many pins can I show in the mockup?

Up to 6 of your own pins. They are placed first, each in the shorter of the two columns, and the rest of the screen fills with neutral placeholder pins.

Will my pin be cropped in the mockup?

Pins between square and about 1:2.1 keep their shape. Taller pins are cropped to 1:2.1 and wider images are shown square, similar to how tall pins are trimmed in many feeds.

    What sizes can I download?

Portrait 1000 x 1500, square 1200 x 1200 or landscape 1600 x 1200. Portrait works as a pin itself, square suits Instagram and landscape fits slides and case studies.

Can I change the search text?

Yes. Type any phrase into Search bar text, for example the keyword your pin targets, and it appears in the search field at the top of the screen.
