How to use the Scrapbook Pin Maker

  1. 1

    Add your photos

Drop, paste or choose up to four photos. The layout changes with the number of photos: one large polaroid, two staggered, three in a cascade or four in a loose grid.

  2. 2

    Write the title and captions

Type a handwritten title and an optional subtitle such as a date or place. Add one caption per line and they appear under each polaroid in the same order.

  3. 3

Pick paper and tape, then download

Choose kraft, cream, blush, sage or notebook grid paper and a tape color. Click Shuffle layout to try new angles, then Download PNG for a 1000 x 1500 pin.

Scrapbook pins feel personal in a feed full of polished stock photos. Tilted polaroids, strips of tape and a handwritten title make a trip recap, a family memory, a craft project or a mood post look like a page from a real journal, which is exactly the feeling people save them for.

This template maker draws everything procedurally in your browser: the paper grain, the frames, the shadows and the torn tape ends. Add up to four photos, write a caption for each, and shuffle the layout until the angles look right. Your photos never leave your device.

When a scrapbook pin works best

The scrapbook look suits content with a story behind it: travel itineraries, wedding and baby memories, before and after crafts, seasonal family traditions, and "a week in my life" posts. It signals real experience, which helps when your post is a personal account rather than a generic list.

Pick photos with a clear subject and some breathing room around it, because the polaroid crop is square. Close-ups of food, faces, hands and details read better at small sizes than wide landscapes.

Tips for a handmade look

Keep captions short and lowercase, two or three words, like a note you would scribble. Mixed washi tape looks playful; a single tape color looks calmer and more editorial. Kraft paper pairs well with warm photos, sage and blush with soft, light ones.

Scrapbook Pin Maker FAQ

How many photos can a scrapbook pin hold?

Up to four. More than that makes each polaroid too small to read on a phone, so pick your four strongest photos and link to the post for the rest.

Is the paper texture a stock image?

No. The grain, fibers and edge shading are drawn with code in your browser each time, so there is nothing licensed to worry about and the download is fully yours.

Can I change the angle of the photos?

Click Shuffle layout to get new rotations, positions and tape placements. Keep clicking until you like it. The photo order stays the same.

What font is used for the handwritten title?

Caveat, an open source handwriting font that is free for personal and commercial use. It is loaded from this site, so it works even if you do not have it installed.

Can I use the scrapbook pin template for printing?

The download is 1000 x 1500 pixels, which prints cleanly at about 4 x 6 inches. For larger prints, the image will start to look soft.
