Saving an Amazon product page to Pinterest gives you one small photo and the page title as it stands. A custom pin gives the product more room: up to three of your listing photos stacked in a tall layout, with the product title, the price and your seller name underneath, so shoppers know what it is and what it costs before they click.
Add the same photos you use on the listing. With one photo it fills the top of the pin, two photos stack, and three make a large hero shot with two details below. Everything is drawn in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.
Choosing photos from your listing
Lead with the main product image on its plain background, then add a detail shot of the port, the case or the accessories, and a lifestyle photo if the listing has one. Amazon images are usually square, and this layout crops them a little from the sides, so keep the product centred and away from the very edges.
Short titles read best on a pin. Your listing title carries keywords for Amazon search, so trim it to what the product is and let the pin description do the rest of the work.
Price, links and how many pins to make
Showing the price helps shoppers decide before they click, but Amazon prices move: coupons, deals and the Buy Box price can all change between visits. If your price changes often, leave it blank here and mention the current offer in the pin description instead.
Paste the full product URL as the destination link — the one with the ASIN in it — not the Amazon homepage, so the pin lands on the exact item. Make three or four pins from one listing by changing the photo order, theme and title, and spread them over a few weeks with the fresh pin planner.
Designed pins alongside product data
This tool exports a static PNG, which does not carry live price or availability. Pinterest shows that data on product pins fed through a merchant catalog, and a designed pin like this works alongside those — especially at launch, when a new listing has no reviews to lean on.
For a promotion, restyle the same photos with the sale pin maker, and add tracking parameters to your link with the Pinterest UTM builder so you can see what the pin actually sends.
