How to use the Fresh Pin Planner

    1. 1

      Paste your posts

Add one post per line. You can add the URL after a vertical bar, like "Easy sourdough guide | https://example.com/sourdough". The URL is kept in the CSV and calendar notes.

    2. 2

Set pins per post, pins per day and spacing

Pins per post is how many fresh designs you will create for each link. Pins per day is your publishing pace. The gap sets the fewest days between two pins for the same link, so one post does not take over your feed.

    3. 3

Follow the schedule or export it

Read the dated list on the page, or download it as CSV for a spreadsheet or scheduler, or as ICS to see each day's pins in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

A fresh pin is a new image, even when it links to a page you have pinned before. Publishing a steady flow of them is one of the simplest ways to keep an account growing, but planning it by hand gets messy fast: which post is next, how many designs are left, and did you already pin that link this week?

This planner does the scheduling for you. Paste your posts, choose how many fresh pins you will make for each and how many you want to publish per day, and set a minimum gap between pins for the same link. It returns a dated list you can follow, import into a spreadsheet as CSV or add to your calendar as an ICS file.

    How the schedule is built

The planner fills each day in order. For every open slot it picks the post with the most pins still to publish that has not been pinned within your minimum gap, which spreads every link across the whole schedule instead of bunching all of one post's designs together. If no post is allowed on a day because of the gap, that slot is left empty and the planner moves on.

You can skip weekends if you only pin on weekdays. The summary shows the total number of pins, the last day of the plan and how many days had open slots, which tells you when adding posts would help.

Making enough fresh pins to fill it

The easiest way to fill a schedule is to make several designs for each post in one session. The pin variations generator gives you ten starting points from one title, and the bulk pin maker designs many pins at once.

For holiday content, check the start dates in the seasonal pin planner and put those posts at the top of your list.

    Fresh Pin Planner FAQ

What counts as a fresh pin?

A fresh pin is a pin with an image Pinterest has not seen before. It can link to a URL you have already pinned, as long as the design is new. Repinning the same image is not a fresh pin.

How many fresh pins should I publish per day?

There is no official number. Pick a pace you can keep up every week, such as one to five pins a day. Consistency matters more than a burst of pins followed by weeks of silence.

How long should I wait between pins for the same URL?

Many creators leave at least a few days to a week between new pins that point to the same link. The default gap of 7 days is an example setting; change it to suit how many posts you have.

Can I import the CSV into a scheduler?

The CSV has date, post, URL and pin number columns. Most schedulers have their own import format, so you may need to rename or reorder columns, but the dates and order are ready to use.

    Is my list saved?

Your inputs are saved in this browser only, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is uploaded.
