Who each one is for

Weblizar Pin It Button On Image Hover And Post

Site owners who want a hover button that is easy to switch on or off for posts, pages and mobile, from a plugin that was updated recently.

jQuery Pin It Button for Images

Site owners who want detailed control over which images get the button and how it looks. Its page says it was last updated in 2020 and has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases, so test it on a staging copy first.

Simple Pin It Button for Pinterest

Site owners who want a small set of choices: corner, colors, button text and autohide. One reviewer on its page reported that the button covered a whole image in a gallery, and the page does not say if that was fixed.

QuickPinMaker plugin

Bloggers and store owners who also want rich pin tags, domain verification and an optional link to Pinner, the QuickPinMaker agent, and who can wait for a plugin that is not released yet.

Comparison FAQs

How did you choose these plugins?

On November 7, 2026 we looked at the plugins WordPress.org lists under its Pinterest tag and its search for Pinterest save button, kept the ones whose main job is a Save or Pin it button on images, and took the three with the most active installations that we could verify on their own pages. This is not a ranking of quality.

Is the QuickPinMaker plugin available now?

No. It is coming soon. Join the waitlist on this page and we will email you once when it is released.

Does a Save button help my Pinterest traffic?

We have no data that proves an effect for any plugin, so we do not claim one. A Save button makes it easier for a visitor to pin an image from your page. Good vertical images and clear titles matter as well.

Do the other plugins track clicks?

None of the three WordPress.org pages we read described analytics or click tracking as of November 7, 2026.

Is this page affiliated with these plugins?

No. Plugin names belong to their owners. We mention them only to compare features, and details may change, so check each plugin page for the latest.
