How to find Pinterest ideas
- Start from what you already publish. List your last ten posts, products or services. Each one holds several ideas.
- Search it on Pinterest. Type the topic and read the suggestions that appear. They show how people phrase it.
- Look at what comes up. Notice the image styles, the titles and the boards. Ask what each pin promises.
- Check the calendar. Many ideas have a season. Our holiday marketing calendar shows what is coming.
- Pick one angle and write it as a promise. For example, a quick dinner, a small bathroom makeover or a gift for a gardener.
How to use an idea once you have it
- Say the idea in the pin title in plain words. Our keywords by niche and hashtags by niche help.
- Choose a clear photo and a layout that suits it. The free pin maker has five layouts, and the pin size guide shows the right sizes.
- Save the pin to a board named for the idea. Board name ideas can help.
- Link the pin to a page that delivers what the pin promised.
